Week 6

So I have been asking my self this question over the past couple of weeks, Why would someone want to become a person who Geocaches? I found a great paper that was written by Margot Anne Kelley. She describes why she started geocaching. She says that it was mainly for the great new walking/hiking adventures, but then she discovers that it is more about the exploration of the United States and trying to understand other geocachers.

Geocaching does sound like an amazing way to explore sites and to discover places that other people find important. It's a great way to get exercise while connecting with people too!

Thanks for sharing this paper.

It was interesting to read her viewpoint on geocaching. I always looked at it from the point of view of the hunt and not as a great way to get exercise.

Thanks for sharing this paper.
