I didn't know that RSS feeds usually just provide you with headlines, at which point you click on the headlines that interest you and are taken to the appropriate sites. That would certainly make your inbox much less overwhelming, although it sounds like you do still have to clear all of the unwanted headlines, right?
I subscribe to several RSS feeds through my Outlook and I don't just get the headlines on most of them. I can see how it would take up so much less space that way. I find myself just scanning the vast majority to see if it is anything that I really want to read.
