A group called the K-12 High Speed Network of California had a program last year that taught participants about E-rate and how to use and RSS feed to receive the training information.

That is an interesting use for an RSS feed. I mostly use mine for getting updates from various blogs and didn't think to use it this way. I wonder if this is common?
I think that it was not common a few years ago, but it is becoming more common as the technology becomes easier and more accessible
